We are looking forward to welcoming students back to campus next week. Please read the following for important athletics reminders.
** If your student is interested in participating in a fall sport, please email Davita ASAP at [email protected] to indicate interest so we can plan accordingly.
Athletics paperwork including preparticipation physicals are due prior to the sport deadline:
- 7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball-- Wednesday, 8/23
- TK-8 Coed Cross Country-- Tuesday, 8/29
** Student athletes who do not turn in all required paperwork by the deadline will not be permitted to participate in the season.
**GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL (7th & 8th Grade)
- TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AUGUST 23 - AUGUST 25.
- Athletes must participate in ALL tryout dates. To participate in tryouts, athletes must turn in all required paperwork prior to 8/23.
- 7th grade: 3:00 PM - 4:45 PM [Coach Carmen Espinoza]
- 8th grade: 4:45 PM - 6:15 PM [Coach Kali Cummings]
- ATHLETES WILL BE NOTIFIED OF TEAM SELECTION VIA EMAIL ON FRIDAY, 8/25 BY 9:00PM.
**CROSS COUNTRY (COED TK – 8th Grades)
- PRACTICES BEGIN ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 29
- To participate in the season athletes must join the team on 8/29. All required forms must be turned in prior to 8/29.
- Practices will be Tuesdays and Thursdays, except 8/31 due to Back-to-School Night.
- TK-2 grade (on campus only): Tuesday and Thursday, 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM [Coaches Nancy Kinziger and Sarah Landis]
- 3rd-8th grade (off campus 2-4 miles): Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM - 4:15PM [Head Coach Josh Durham, Assistant Coaches Mariya Chisholm and Tony Sanchez]
**GOLF (COED 5th – 8thgrades) TBD
- To participate in golf, athletes must be able to play at least four holes under double par
- If your student is eligible please email by August 28th.
