We are looking forward to welcoming students back to school next week. Please read the following for important athletics reminders (full details can found in the August Panther Press).
** If your student is interested in participating in a fall sport, and you have not done so already, please email Davita ASAP at [email protected] to indicate interest so we can plan accordingly.
Completed athletics paperwork (1. athletic contract, 2. Covid risk waiver, 3. acknowledgement & assumption of risk waiver, and 4. pre participation physical) are due prior to the sport deadline: PLEASE ENSURE STUDENTS COMPLETE AND SIGN THE STUDENT SECTIONS
- 7th & 8th Grade Girls Volleyball— 2:15PM, Friday, 8/22
- TK-8th Coed Cross Country— 2:15PM, Tuesday, 8/22
**Student athletes who do not turn in completed paperwork by the deadline will not be permitted to tryout/join the team.

**GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL (7th & 8th Grade) Kali Cummings
- TRYOUTS WILL BE HELD AUGUST 25 - AUGUST 27
- Athletes must participate in ALL tryout days
- To participate in tryouts, athletes must turn in all required paperwork by 2:15PM on 8/22.

- ATHLETES WILL BE NOTIFIED OF TEAM SELECTION VIA EMAIL ON WEDNESDAY, 8/27 BY 9:00PM.
**CROSS COUNTRY (COED TK – 8th Grades) Head Coach, Josh Durham
- PRACTICES BEGIN ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 26
- To participate in the season, all required forms must be completed and turned in by 2:15PM on 8/22 and athletes must join the team on 8/26.
- Athletes should be able to be safe, responsible, and stay on task during practices and races. Athletes who are unable to do so will need an adult with them at practice. Parent volunteers are welcome and strongly encouraged.
- Athletes should up in athletic clothing, shoes, water bottle, and willing to work hard and have fun.
- TK-2 grade [Coach Sarah Landis] — mostly on campus; off campus runs dependent on parent volunteers: Tuesday and Thursday, 2:15 PM - 3:00 PM
- 3rd-8th grade [Head Coach Josh Durham, Assistant Coaches: Mariya Chisholm and Tony Sanchez] — off campus 2-4 miles: Tuesday and Thursday, 3:00 PM - 4:15PM
**GOLF (COED 6th – 8th Grades)
The Bay League has decided that golf will be held in the late spring. Please look for updates regarding golf later in the year.
- To participate in golf, athletes must be able to play at least four holes under double par. Each school is limited to entering a maximum of six eligible players at each tournament.
