The Jacoby Creek School District Board of Trustees is currently seeking a person interested in filing for a position as a school trustee. The vacancy was created by the resignation of a current trustee. The newly appointed trustees will serve through November 2026. Elected trustee will take office on January 13, 2025.
In order to be eligible to serve on the school board you must be 18 years of age, a citizen of the state, a resident of the Jacoby Creek School District, and a registered voter. An employee of the school district may not serve on the board unless they resign their position.
Interested persons should submit a Candidate Information Sheet which can be picked up at the school office or can be found HERE . Candidate Information Sheets will be accepted through 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2024. Candidate Information Sheets can be delivered to the school office at 1617 Old Arcata Road in Bayside or emailed to Melanie Nannizzi a [email protected].
A meeting of the board of trustees will be held on Friday, December 13 at 8:00 a.m. in order to interview and select candidates.
